Golfing. Miniature style.

Ezekiel came and visited me one weekend before he took off to Great Lakes, IL for basic training. We had so much fun that weekend! We went to Santa Monica because the sun was out and shining so of course we had to go the beach! We did a little shopping and walked the pier and beach. That night we decided to go bowling...
When we pulled up to the bowling lanes... we realized we looked pretty underdressed compared to all of the other people in there. Everyone was so dressy and the girls looked like they were going to a night club. We were so confused... we left. We sat in the parking lot trying to devise a new plan. Mini golfing? Sure! It was pretty late and when we got to there, turned out the courses were closed :( BUT the arcade was still open. We decided to play a few games and I smoked him in air hockey a few times! Haha. We had a lot of fun there until... I lost his iPhone!!! Till this day, I don't know exactly what happened. I had his phone in my pocket and when we got ready to leave, it was no longer in my pocket. We assumed it had fallen out while we were playing air hockey and someone picked it up and took it. It was an iPhone so we didn't think anyone would turn it in to the front desk but we asked any way. Nope. No one turned it in. People these days... I cannot imagine just picking up a phone and taking it! But that was that, and now we both have BlackBerrys haha yes, that was my whole plan. I purposely lost his iPhone to get him to join the BlackBerry world. Jk. Anyway, we drove home kind of upset but got over it quickly because he really likes his new phone lol.
The next day, we went golfing! Miniature, of course. We went back to the courses to actually play because we now knew their hours. Turns out I am quite the mini golfer (I won). Since it was such a warm day, the course was packed! It was also a holiday that day, I think. I loved the place we went to, it was so cute.

Aww :)

Sorry baby... it didn't go in! Lol

Such a great weekend. Missing him so much... Can't wait till we can have some more fun times! <3

Writing letters...

Because Ezekiel is away in Navy basic training, our only way of communicating to one another is the old fashioned way... writing letters. It's been kind of strange because I am so used to sending bbm and getting one back in a matter of seconds. He has been gone for almost two weeks. The worst two weeks of my life!!! Okay... little dramatic? Not going to lie, it has been harder than I ever expected. I realize how much I really do love him. Absence makes the heart grow fonder? I find this to be very true. I see that I have taken having Ezekiel a phone call away, down the street, an instant message for granted. I really am going to appreciate the time we have together when I finally get to see him!

I find that writing to him is very therapeutic. I write him a letter every day. I just got his address this week so my first envelope I mailed out to him had about 10 letters stuffed into it! Lol. Sitting down, writing a letter, and walking over to the mail drop everyday... How cute is that? Haha. They only send letters once a week over there so I haven't received a letter yet. My anxiety has been through the roof, like my body is rejecting the fact that he is away from me! I try to be strong, swallowing my tears back but building everything up has been keeping me from a good night's sleep so I've been having a few breakdowns. It feels good to just let it out. I really hope that I will feel some relief when I get my first letter from him. I believe I will.

Before going to the gym today, I went to print out a picture to send to him along with my letter tonight. I hope he likes it. Here it is ...

I know my hair looks crazy! I took this picture just a few minutes after I woke up. Oh and that handsome little guy is the teddy bear he sent me for Valentine's Day. Along with roses, chocolates and spa treatments. He sent them a week early since he would be gone on Valentine's Day :)

I found this near the middle of my notebook... I had no idea he had done that! He's the best <3

It's Christmas at Disneyland!

Ezekiel's gift to me for Christmas was a trip to Disneyland. We had so much fun and I loved all the Christmas decorations! Don't forget about the snow! What excited me most? He agreed to wear matching Disney Christmas sweatshirts! We got so many compliments that day :) We stayed at a pretty nice hotel right by the resort. I loved my gift! I know Christmas was a few months ago... but here are a few pictures...

The beautiful castle topped with snow!

It was pretty cold but a nice warm cup of coffee helped! I wanted to keep the cup.. it was so cute!

In line for Peter Pan, so what do we do while we wait? Take a picture!

 It's a small, small world!

 A BIG Mickey cookie!

Too cute :)
