TEN Days!!

Just TEN more days until I get to finally see Ezekiel Isaiah! :) One week from Thursday I will be getting on a plane to Chicago and be on my way to see him!! One week from Friday, we will be together! I'm so excited...gosh, two months sounded so long! And the day is already almost here! I will admit, time went by pretty fast. It's going to feel so surreal when I see him!!!

TWENTY MINUTES!

I got another phone call on Friday and got to talk to my love for a whole twenty minutes!! I went for a walk with my mom and dogs and LUCKILY decided to take my phone with me because halfway through the walk... my phone started ringing. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw the area code that he had been calling me from! I was so excited I just stared at the screen and said "It's Ezekiel! It's Ezekiel!" and my mom was all, "Well, ANSWER!" Haha I was so excited that I almost missed the call! I got to have a nice, long conversation with him :) And the day before, I received his letters! Seven of them! I love hearing from him. I miss him so much... 17 more days to go and I will finally see him <3

A Phone Call Followed By Many Letters!

On Tuesday, I went to the gym like I do everyday. I was working up a sweat and then I saw my phone light up. I was getting a call, "Hello?" and then I heard his voice reply, "Hey babe" My heart stopped and I jumped off the spin bike and ran outside! I couldn't believe it! I was talking to my babe! :) We got to talk for a whole 13 MINUTES!!! So happy to hear from him. Kind of made me miss him even more when he said "Gotta go babe. I love you. Bye" Thirteen minutes was a long time for him to be able to be on the phone, but I wanted to just keep talking to him for hours. Nevertheless, I had a smile on my face the rest of the day! My little Sailor is doing great! <3

Then... I received FIVE letters yesterday! He is only able to send letters out once a week (Mondays) so I get them on Wednesdays. I went to go check my mailbox and there it was! An envelope addressed to me from SR Rodriguez! I opened it up to find five letters stuffed in the little envelope :) He had written to me every night last week. I have read all the letters 3 or 4 times since yesterday! I love hearing from him. So happy to finally get some letters! I have been sending one out everyday. He flew out a month ago today! It's already been a whole month. He graduates four weeks from tomorrow. Twenty eight days to go!! And we will be together at last! 

First Kiss... First Call... MISSED!

Yesterday was exactly a year from when Ezekiel and I shared our first kiss! I have a great memory! We have shared many more since then... Haha!

Ezekiel was able to make his FIRST phone call from boot camp yesterday! Who did he call? ME! I couldn't believe it! I thought for sure he would only call his parents and then have them pass along the message. But... I MISSED the call! I'm still so disappointed! My phone was on silent and he called at about 8 in the morning (it was 11 over there) and when I went to go look at my phone... I was five minutes too late. I had a missed call and a voicemail and I thought it was a wrong number. Then I heard his voice on the message... and instantly started crying. It gets worse... in the message he said "I guess I'll call my parents now" and his parents also missed his call!!! My baby didn't get to talk to anybody when he was finally able to make a call! :( I feel so horrible... he must feel sad too. He sounded sad on the messages he left on my phone and their phone. My phone will always be on LOUD now! I will not miss another call from my love! 

Received My First Letter!!!!

And I am BEYOND happy!!! I finally heard from him! I feel so so so much better just getting that one letter. It is amazing what one letter can do :) From the way he wrote his letter, it sounds like he hasn't received any of mine yet. He says he wasn't allowed to write any letters until that day (it's dated 26 Feb.) so maybe he wasn't allowed to receive his letters yet as well. I hope he gets to read them soon because I have sent out at LEAST 20 letters! I know he needs to hear words of encouragement. The relief I felt after reading his, he needs to feel that way too. Poor guy...it's his only source of entertainment over there! Lol. I just finished writing him a letter...

Yes, two full pages. I like to write...and I am very detailed so he doesn't miss out on a single thing I am doing!

BUT... it was a small paper! Haha I was surprised at how long it was though when I first opened it up! Then I remembered this was his first letter he was able to write and was catching me up on the past few weeks. Sounds like he is doing just fine over there and is still alive! Lol. I was looking up plane tickets today planning my trip to Chicago for his graduation. I am so excited to go! Can't wait to see his beautiful smile. Better wear waterproof makeup... I know there will be plenty of tears! Just a little over a month until I see him. Counting down those days!
